Terms of Use.
Version 2026-09-16 · in effect from 16 September 2026
These terms cover using ALLDAY: reading the board, having an account, applying for work and posting it. By creating an account you agree to them.
If you hire through us, the Venue Terms also apply and cover the money. If you join the Cover Shift Crew, you will be given a separate agreement covering the work itself before you are booked on anything.
Who we are
ALLDAY is a jobs board for UK hospitality, and a service that finds, checks and pays people to cover shifts.
ALLDAY is a trading name of FAIR TIP LTD, a company registered in Scotland, company number SC892153.
That is the company these terms are with. Everywhere else, we are ALLDAY.
What ALLDAY is, and what it is not
We are not your employer because you have an account here, and we are not a party to anything you agree with a venue you found through us. When you apply to a job post and a venue hires you, that is between the two of you: the pay, the hours, the contract and everything that follows.
Cover shifts are different, and that difference is the point. Where we place somebody on a cover shift, we will have engaged that person ourselves, we pay them, and the venue pays us. That arrangement is set out in the Venue Terms and in the crew agreement, not here.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over.
- Give us details that are true, and keep them up to date.
- The account is yours. Do not let somebody else use it, and tell us straight away if you think somebody has.
- You can close it whenever you like. What happens to your information afterwards is in the Privacy Policy.
What you post
You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to show it where it needs to be shown: a job post on the board and its share images, a profile and CV to a venue you applied to.
Do not post anything that:
- is not true, including a job that does not exist or a role you have not held;
- discriminates, or asks for somebody of a particular age, race, sex, religion, sexuality, or disability status, except where the law specifically allows it;
- pays less than the National Minimum Wage or the National Living Wage;
- is somebody else’s to post, or breaches their rights;
- is abusive, harassing or threatening, whether aimed at us, at a venue, or at somebody applying;
- is there to harvest contact details, sell something, or advertise a different site.
We can take down anything that breaks these rules, and close an account that keeps doing it. Where a post is removed we will say why, unless saying so would get in the way of something the law requires of us.
Using the site properly
Do not scrape the board, copy the listings wholesale, try to get at parts of the site or other people’s accounts, or do anything intended to knock the service over. Normal reading, applying and posting is what this is for.
What we promise, and what we do not
We try to keep the site up and the board accurate, but we cannot promise it is always available or that every post is genuine. Job posts come from venues, and we do not verify every one of them before it appears. If something looks wrong, tell us and we will look.
We do not promise you will find work, or that you will find somebody. What we do promise about people we place on cover shifts is set out in the Venue Terms, and we stand behind it.
If something goes wrong
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us getting something wrong, for business you did not win, or for what a venue or a candidate does after you have found each other through us.
If you are using ALLDAY as a consumer rather than for a business, you keep all of your statutory rights and nothing here takes them away.
Ending it
You can stop using ALLDAY and close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. If you are a paying venue, the Venue Terms say what happens to your subscription.
Changes
When we change something that matters we publish a new version with a new date and ask you to read it the next time you sign in. Small corrections are made in place. This is version 2026-09-16.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
